Happy Mongolian Lunar New Year!

Happy Valentine's day! Hyvää Ystävänpäivää! Happy Chinese New Year too! 春节快乐!虎年吉祥!

I watched this live show for 2006 New Year TV in Huhhot, Inner Mongolia. I "borrowed" this beautiful song to send my greetings to my beloved family and friends thousands of miles away! Tsagaan sarin mend hurgii(in Mongolian)!

Today is a very special day with a lot of holidays in one single day! Hyvää Ystävänpäivää means Happy Friends Day in Finland. In Mongolia and China, it is New Year day according to the lunar calendar.
We went sledding in Hirvensalo ski resort

with some Finnish friends to celebrate Friends Day. It was great fun sledding with a lot of kids to make up some missing childhood fun. Actually we did have snow in some winter in Inner Mongolia, but my home is surrounded by rocky mountains, and it was impossible I guess.

Haha there was the best part of sledding day :), The best part was to grill sausages in the middle of snow, hmmm yummy..:)

It was a beautiful day indeed. After sledding, we were offered a nice drink with heart-shape cakes in our friends' koti.

In the evening we celebrated our first Valentine's day together with wine, candles and Shisha(Hookah)...

Yes, I love Mongolian "standing" scripts too, very beatiful and elegant. This is a very touching song about mothers' love. We have lots of songs about mothers:) Mothers are the most greatest in the world!
