I am a Mongolian! I love my culture, language, and would like to share anything with you! How much do you know about Mongolians?

This summer we are planning to take the trans-siberian railway from Perm to Ulaanbaatar. From there we will take trains and buses to Huhhot in China. There are Mongolians in Republic of Kalmykia (small red area in the left, above map), I want to visit them during my stay in Volgograd.

A brief look of Mongolian clothes and old scripts! Now I am planning to start my own website to teach Mongolian old scripts. Hopefully it will awaken up tons of Mongolians who don't know how to read and write their own scripts.

I found this video from another blog, here to share with you. It is an amazing gift for today! Enjoy...
This short video is a trailer of (2004-2007) Travelling by horse from Mongolia to Hungary on the trail of nomads- a path most famously laid down by Ghengis Khan and the Mongols in the 13th
century. Tim Cope -National Geographic Adventure Honoree 2007, Australian Adventurer of the year 2006 - is a 30 year old from Gippsland, Victoria (Australia)
P.S. there are really adventurous people out there, but compared to them, I am living a very normal life:), not an adventure at all:( I do admire these challenging people. Fortunately, we are planning to do a trip across Eurasia by train this summer. We are not as cool as Tim riding horse over thousands of miles alone, but still cool enough for ourselves:) For that epic trip I will update photos and diaries in my own website. Keep tuned...
