National Park Hiking

Last Friday and Saturday we went hiking in the north west of Finland, near Pori. It was another nice experience of us. :)
I am terribly busy with all studies I have to handle with, so I will try to update and beautify my blog as soon as I can. I will have trips to Germany and China in October, would be hard to spend time with my blog. But I like to write and love to be read and heard. Welcome you to come and read me now and then!:)

We went to Lauhanvuori national park, was really beautiful, but not spactaculous as we imagined. We expected a higher mountain, because vuori=mountain in Finnish. But we have to remember that there are no many high mountains in Finland:) However, we love the lakes and trees with different colors, and I call it a golden autumn! We=me+HIM:)

This watching tower is 22m high, we saw so impressive sceneries from the top!

We stayed one night in a tent by this lake, how beautiful it is you can feel and imagine:)

A super clean grill place. Finns are awesome!
The same lake at different times of a day:)

Not enough of this beautiful scenary.

How do Finnish people keep the national parks in order and human-orientated? Just amazing! I was touched by all the details. All the grill places were cleaned, and there are always enough woods to keep ourselves warm in middle of the forest. It is a great society! I would like to thank all here, hope they can see sometimes. Kiitos palvelusta:)
                        Beautiful rainbow...

A golden autumn!

  1. Amizing pictures! I really like all that "swampy landscape". I never spent a night inside a tent anywhere, so I am wondering if it's possible to do so in the middle of a suomi forest... I mean... Its got to be extremely cold down there, no? Good luck with your studies! =)

  2. Thanks for commenting. I have a lot more pictures, but for now it is almost impossible to upload it, after my exams in December.
Yes, it is possible, but I tell you it is COLD, I did not sleep well. My sleeping bag was supposed be very warm, but not. I am from Mongolian Plateau and I should tolerate cold, but not :) still cold, but the bright side is the sunshine on the lake when you crawl out of the frozen tent, and the steam arising on the lake after the sunshine... It is just beautiful! So I have to balance between a boring cozy weekend at home or a cold night in tent with an amazing morning. lalala, a lot to say. But I strongly recommend you to try one day, it is cool :)
